PETER OBI WILL DEFEAT ATIKU ABUBAKAR AND ROTIMI AMAECHI IN ADC DIRECT PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY ELECTIONS

Direct Primaries are the forte of popular presidential candidates who are not very wealthy personally but are rich in people. The pitiable lack of knowledge on democratic practices outside the shores of Nigeria make Nigerians underrate the prospects of Peter Obi versus Abubakar Atiku and Amaechi in a direct Primaries election.

Obi is the most popular politician in Nigeria today and the one with the capacity to pull supporters out of their homes to vote in a contested direct primaries elections. He is the one most likely to win direct Primaries because direct Primaries works for popular candidates rather than candidates who just have personal wealth to bribe delegates.

You cannot bribe everyone to vote for a candidate in a direct Primary election. In indirect or delegates Primaries, you have to bribe delegates to win votes. That’s why Peter Obi refuses to participate in delegates Primaries, because he refuses to bribe anyone to vote for him.

Moreover, you have to understand that Obi’s election will be funded by supporters across the world for both primaries and the main election. That is how it is done in America and other democratic countries. Supporters who believe in you will cóntrobute to fund your campaign.

Your election prospects mostly depend on your campaign organization and your capacity to raise funds for your election, not on how much you have in your bank. That’s how Barack Obama could defeat Senator John McCain, Sarah Palin and the Republican Party, the party of the wealty in America. That’s also how Joe Biden, about the poorest president in modern American history, could defeat Donald Trump, an incumbent billionaire Republican President.

I tell you, if Peter Obi asks for donations, he will raise $500 million in a week from across the world.

A successful primaries campaign is a strong and powerful preparation to win the main election. If Peter Obi can come out of the Primaries campaign victorious, he will have prepared and fortified himself to take the presidency.

The fear lingers however that the APC will do everything to sabotage the Primaries election process of ADC so that it will not be able to present a united front in the main election. So the advocacy of those working to achieve a consensus candidacy can be understood in the light of APC ‘s unrelenting efforts to sabotage the Peter Obi and not build their own campaign structures.
