This is coming barely a week after Tinubu transmitted the names of Reno Omokri, former INEC Chairman, Mahmoud Yakubu and others to the Senate for consideration as ambassadors.
President Bola Tinubu has nominated Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, the immediate past Sole Administrator of Rivers State, for appointment as a non-career ambassador.
The President also named Ita Enang, a former senator; Chioma Ohakim, former Imo State first lady; and Abdulrahman Dambazau, former minister of interior and ex-Chief of Army Staff, as non-career ambassadors.

The list has, however, been greeted with criticism from various quarters.
