It is an unpopular position to take as things stand today but I am going to stick out my neck and make the prediction based on what I know from my research on the political history of Nigeria since my graduation from OAU in June 1966 as a member of the Class of 1963.
I hundred percent endorse Professor Chris Nwokoba ‘s Analogy and analysis on competencycapacity, experience and strategy and performance.
That is why I am projecting Tinubu to win by a wider margin in 2027 than he had done in 2023.
The challenge of the Opposition Parties in Nigeria are legion and they are going to be most difficult to get over.
Ego and subtle but powerful tribalism which has never abated in Nigeria despite the pretense of our leading politicians to the contrary.
The Opposition were able to defeat Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 because Tinubu had managed to pull a genuine and a true gang-up to take out Goodluck Jonathan without pulling punches but with brain power.
Tinubu had done it with total commitment and selfless resolution that Professor Nwokoba has spoken so eloquently about in his interview on Arise TV
Both Obi and Atiku Are surrounding themselves with Psychofants and Psychopaths and leaders who love themselves more than they love Nigeria.
Tinubu is going to win because the gang up of the Opposition is totally flawed and derelict on many grounds.
Those opposition Parties and those who lead them care more about their own enlightened self interest than they do about the interest of the Nation.
Secondly they are lying to the Nation by not telling the truth about where Tinubu has succeeded and where he has failed.
Tinubu has not been a total failure like they want all the voters to believe.
But when Tinubu before the elections in 2027 is finally ready to come out with the facts and figures and the raw data that nobody in his right senses can deny and when Tinubu is able to prove to the whole Nation how the so-called Opposition had woefully failed in the past what they are again promising today, if they get voted back into power in 2027. Tinubu is going to suddenly become far more credible than all of the Opposition put together and he is going to ride on that wave to victory in 2027.
If Tinubu was able to outplay all of the opposition parties against him when he did not have the key to the Nigerian Treasury in his control, how for goodness sake could the same Opposition argue that they are going to beat him as the leader of the Party in power and with all the assets of Government at his beck and call? I can assure you, it is not going to happen.
What are those assets?The Presidency is number one, his Party controlling the Legislative arm in the National Assembly and in the Senate is another.
That his Party the APC currently controls no less than 31 States of Nigeria plus the FTC and at a time all state governments and their Governors now have the constitutional backing and power and the financial capacity and the leverage and strategy to do their job than ever before, is another reason we all cannot dismiss with the wave of the hand.
Tinubu would be far much harder to beat this time than it was in 2023 when President Buhari the man he had helped to bring to power for 8 years had secretly colluded with. Godwin Emefiele, the Governor of Central Bank and the National Chairman of APC Adamu Abubakar and former Senate President Lawan and the former Attorney General Shehu Malami to clandestinely work against Tinubu due to their hidden agenda of ethnic tribalism which has become the bane of our country as I have always hinted in all of my writings.
I am not going to repeat all of the salient points Professor Nwokobia has brilliantly and courageously made in his Arise TV Morning Show Program Analysis moderated by Steve…. and which I had watched before putting out this article.
I am not going to waste your time by prolonging the length of this article.
I am just here to tell you that the learned Professor has proved his point beyond any reasonable doubt as far as I am concerned.
