As the 2027 Lagos State governorship race begins to take shape, three prominent figures have emerged as leading contenders, each vying to step into the shoes of current Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
According to a recent report by ThisDay, the list of frontrunners includes Senator Tokunbo Abiru, Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, and businessman Seyi Tinubu.
Senator Tokunbo Abiru:
A Technocrat with financial acumen. Senator Tokunbo Abiru has a strong reputation for his financial expertise, having transitioned smoothly from a successful banking career into politics.
