Time for Atiku to throw in the towel and to leave poor Tinubu alone.
Much Ado about nothing”is the name I give to Tinubu’s Certificate Racketeering Scandal at Chicago State University and the preoccupation of Abubakar Atiku to continue to embarrass and force the Supreme Court to remove President Tinubu from office.
Atiku is now beginning to look and sound like the fake mother in the Bible who quickly agreed to the suggestion by very wise King Solomon to slice the Baby in dispute into two for the two women claiming to be the rightful mother.
The true mother had refused to go along just to save her baby arguing that the baby would know his true mother when he grows up.
Atiku could care less if Nigeria survives or not. All he wants is his own pound of flesh from Tinubu regardless of the traumatic effect on Nigeria.
Atiku wants to blackmail and embarrass Tinubu to resign so as to give INEC a chance to do a makeover or conduct a new election that Atiku believes he can win arms down.
According to a brilliant analysis of Arise TV lead Panelist , our one and only Reuben Abati has just made on television today, I think the matter has been put to rest once and for all because the efforts Atiku has been making are just too little too late because the efforts don’t have any probative value anymore based on the assertion by the current Registrar of CSU that Bola Ahmed Tinubu
did attend the University and did graduate in 1979 which is the real crux of the matter.
Any additional complaint beyond that is moving the goal post just before the striker shoots the all into an empty net.
Now Atiku has changed gear to contest that Tinubu had got admission to the University by using a false identity which the University has also rejected as being totally irrelevant at this time.
So what more is Atiku looking for other than to disqualify Tinubu by all means.
Atiku and his lawyers did not plead the allegations he now wants to pursue in his original docket or submission to the Tribunal.
The relief he is seeking now is borne out of malice aforethought and sheer disdain or hatred for Tinubu.
The move is not going to persuade or move the Supreme Court one inch in deciding the merit of his Appeal.
All we are waiting for is the final verdict of the Supreme Court which is expected within 60 days of the Ruling by the Election Tribunal.
Atiku and his gangsters must let sleeping dogs lie and allow President Tinubu to concentrate on doing his work to mend and to save Nigeria.
All the efforts being made to frustrate, embarrass and distract the President must stop now and not tomorrow in fairness to the defendant and the country as a whole.
We must all await the final ruling of the Supreme Court the last and the final arbiter on the case.
The President has a whole lot more on his plate than to be worried sick about the attack left, right and center from his competitors for the job.
How I wish that Tinubu is not saddled with all of the baggages surrounding his electability, but the time has come to let him focus all of his attention on the office to which he has been elected.
That Tinubu has picked Ribadu to be in charge of Security is a step in the right direction given the antecedents of the man as revealed in a
recent video widely publicized on the social media about his success in fighting Corruption in Nigeria.
The President could not have chosen a better Nigerian to lead that effort and to help in fighting and minimizing Corruption in Nigeria.
The President is right on track in achieving his goals for Nigeria and Nigerians would do well to heed the advice of the great Oonirisa Alaiyeluwa Arole Oodua Eniitan Babatunde Ogunwusi Ojaja the Second to exercise some patience with the President.
I fully second the motion. It is a step in the right direction by the preeminent royal father.
I rest my case.
