A new pro-Biafra group, Dominant Force for Biafra (DFB), under the leadership of Jesus Field Marshall, King, Prophet, and Dr Robinson Ike, has given a seven-day ultimatum to the self-acclaimed disciple of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Simon Ekpa to withdraw all sit-at-home enforcers from the South-east states or face the consequences.
The pro-Biafra agitator lamented the untold hardship, deprivation, and frustration the Igbos living in the South-east were undergoing being coerced to abandon their means of livelihood in the name of sit-at-home.
He gave the ultimatum as he declared the birth of a New Biafra via his Facebook handle, stating: “This lockdown is now a big embarrassment. I do not like what is happening. They declare lockdown sometimes for three days, four days or days. Nigerians, Hausas, Fulanis, Yorubas are not feeling the pains, but we in the South-east.
“Sometimes you hear of shootings, stray bullets from either the militants or Nigeria soldiers will kill our people. Even if these enforcers kill Nigerian soldiers, they regroup and come back to arrest, maim, and detain Igbo civilians.
“We don’t know the whereabouts of many innocent Igbos arrested because by the time the soldiers come back, the enforcers had escaped,” he lamented.
The leader of the new group further stated: “We say no to this! Nnamdi Kanu, Simon Ekpa, in the name of Jesus Christ, seven-days from today, July 10, 2023, withdraw the sit-at-home order and put these boys down with their guns. Else, after this seven days’ ultimatum, they will be flushed out of Nigeria.”
Ike, who claimed he was divinely anointed both by the Late Biafran General, Odumegwu Ojukwu and by heaven to be the king of Igbos, urged all Nigerians and Igbos to allow him, as a Spiritualist and Field Marshall, to lead the New Biafra republic and liberate the Igbos.

Simon Ekpa, who identifies himself as the self-proclaimed Prime Minister of Biafra, recently engaged in a verbal altercation with Gani Adams, the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, regarding the sit-at-home protests.
Ekpa responded to Adams‘ warning by expressing his disagreement and asserting the rights of the Igbo community in Lagos to participate in sit-at-home demonstrations. He conveyed that these protests serve as a means for Biafrans to express their discontent and assert their significance, while also refusing to succumb to intimidation.
Taking to his Twitter account, Ekpa stated, “Kindly relay this message to Gani Adams: Biafrans residing in Lagos possess the right to employ civil disobedience, such as sit-at-home protests, to demonstrate their dissatisfaction. It is a way for them to highlight their grievances and make it known that they will not tolerate further acts of intimidation.”
Aare Gani Adams, the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, had earlier warned Simon Ekpa, a factional leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), against organizing a sit-at-home protest in Lagos State.
Ekpa had hinted at plans to replicate the protest in Lagos in a tweet.
Adams, in an interview with The Tribune, emphasized that the South West region is not the Biafra Republic and stated that such an attempt would not be tolerated.
He cautioned Ekpa to learn from past mistakes that led to the Civil War and urged him to drop the move, describing it as counterproductive.
Adams emphasized that he cannot go to the South East and decide for the people of that region, similarly, the Biafra Republic agenda should not be imposed on Yorubaland.
He stated that any attempt to impose the Biafra Republic agenda in the South West would be resisted, and Ekpa should be careful not to bring unnecessary tension to Yorubaland.
Adams concluded by asserting that while individuals are entitled to their opinions, the South West is not the Biafran region, and Ekpa should respect the distinct identities and aspirations of different regions in Nigeria.
