I don’t usually dream but sometimes I see visions. In the night, in the silent night when deep sleep falls upon men. It is one of such I want to describe if I can still remember.
I was on my watch. Standing on my Observatory when this epiphany came before me.
In my visionary encounter I saw two heavily built man struggling for something. The Voice said to me to look carefully. Or so I thought I heard.
And I looked closely as the struggle went on. It appears one is of the Fulani extraction who was holding the prize but the other who also was heavily built and strong struggled for that prize he was holding with deep pain and anger.
The struggle was intense.
It was like that prize belonged to the man but was originally stolen from him.
The prize for which they struggled?
Yes, I can tell you now. It is the Sword. I saw in the hands of one a Sword which the other tried to take.
I understood later it means the Sword of Authority.
Then all of a sudden this other man wrestled the holder of the Sword and the armour fell from his hand.
I saw then when the other man took the Sword and the vision was taken away from my eyes.
“Someone is about to fall from power. Power is about to change hands in a very disgraceful manner.
“The arrogance of somebody is about to be tempered soon by the God Who first humbled Lucifer, the father of all arrogant children, – first in the Southwest, then nationally. Someone is about to lose the Sword. Because of arrogance – arrogance compounded by ignorance.”
When a Shigidi demon wants to be disgraced, he says to his handlers, “Take me to the waters, I want a shower.”
The Shigidi of the Southwest has overstepped his bounds with his same faith ticket and contempt of Christianity. He is so full of himself, “inebriated by the exuberance of his own verbosity” and political success and sense of importance. The Sword is about to fall from someone’s hand.
“Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Behold, IAM against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.” (Ezekiel 30: 22)
Immediately I woke up. I took my set to browse the news and the first thing that caught my attention in the headlines was the disgrace in Osun State where an incumbent lost an election conducted by his own government in which money and materials were freely used to coerce, influence and bamboozle the electorate.
I saw that Adeleke the candidate of the PDP was winning in 17 of the 30 Local Government Areas. And the incumbent, Gov. Oyetola, a relative of the Votary of the Muslim- Muslim School of Political Arrogance and Contempt was losing by not a small margin.
I checked all the newspapers to be sure this is not a mistake. They said the same thing.
This is a tsunami. A tsunami that swept away the broom with its occultic arrogance and crass ineptitude. A broom has been swept away in the very home place of the owners of the broom. I understand that even former Governor Bisi Akande could not save his own Local Government from the PDP onslaught. Osun is also the home of Iyiola Omisore, the National Secretary of APC and the roots, according to grapevine, of the Presidential candidate of APC, the champion of Muslim- Muslim’s audacity of hypocrisy. So you can see that this is a multiple tragedy.
Osun State has more Muslims than Chrsitians. So we are told. At least in two of the senatorial districts Muslims dominate. Yet the state has voted a Chrsitian- Chrsitian ticket and rejected a Muslim and an incumbent. In point of fact, the areas where “Chrsitians” are dominant like Ife and Ilesha was where APC won. Perhaps they sold their votes. Just like their counterparts in Ekiti recently where “dibo sebe” ( vote and cook stew) school holds sway and their counterparts in Ondo, another state with dominant Chrsitians, where this disaster of a government was voted in 2019 after heavy financial inducement.
I have said it before that in my opinion, Muslims think more strategically and tactically than most Nigerian Chrsitians; and they also take their religion much more seriously. It is a shame but it is true.
The promoters of the Muslim- Muslim phenomenon tried to tell us that Yorubas don’t care about religion, only competence. Thus they at once reveal their arrogance and ignorance by saying that both competence and fairness or balance are mutually exclusive and that merit and excellence must subsist within only the same space and Faith Tradition – Islam. And they are telling us in essence that a Religion that produced Newton, Pascal, Galileo, Shakespeare, Kepler, Boyle, Dickens, Luther, Goethe, Aquina, Edward, Lincoln, Spencer, Spinoza, Johnson, Beethoven, Wesley, Caruso, Melanchton etc; a Religion under whose space and auspices participatory democracy developed and universal basic education for all; a Religion that produced the impetus and under whose climate all the major inventions of the last 400 years have occurred, does not have someone competent enough to be a running mate to a politician that, by his antecedents, is neither good nor great.
One thing about APC is their Ignorance and arrogance; they are so bold and audacious in their hypocrisy and poverty of Logic that I feel it would take this nation several years after being rescued from the hands of these hijackers of national progress to return to sanity.
They also give the Muslims a bad name by implying that they will forget the calamitous misrule of the last 7 years simply because the perpetrators are of Muslim Faith. They give a bad name to noble Muslims and insult their intelligence by assuming that once a party is loaded by Muslims they will always vote the party.
That is the presumption that Osun Muslims have now destroyed and for this very reason I praise them. Don’t try the Yorubas. A Yoruba Muslim is different and never underestimate him or assume that he would bow to prejudice. They don’t only read the Koran and pray, they think as well.
Oyo State is dominated by Muslims yet they voted against Adelabu, the Muslim candidate of APC and for Seyi Makinde, a Chrsitian of the PDP because Abiola Ajimobi of APC made himself and the party so odious to the people by his arrogance that people forgot their common Religion and voted against him. I told you of the arrogance of APC and soon God will humble that arrogance beginning from the Southwest.
That is what has now happened again in Osun State.
When you consider the multiple enemies this party has brought upon itself in the last 7 years – the misrule at the centre which is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf, the alienation of the youths as demonstrated by the crackdown on Endsars’ Movement, the galloping inflation and loss of purchasing power of the masses, the bungling of the war on terror and the double- standard hypocrisy of this APC government, its dubious integrity and mismanagement of the economy and infliction of acute suffering on people, the level of insecurity in the land coupled with the contempt and sidelining of an entire Faith Tradition as evidenced by its Muslim- Muslim ticket I knew there was going to be a backlash. A terrible backlash.
It is ignorant to think that Muslims would vote you because you are a Muslim. No, most Muslims are reasonable. They are not so blinded by religious prejudice. The late Gani Fawehinmi is a Muslim and he was one of the first to oppose the inclusion of Nigeria into OIC. So is Alao Aka Bashorun and others.
It is the elites who cause problems. The Muslim Religious politicians who are neither good politicians not good Muslims.
They always want to drive wedges between the people trying to divide them. It was not the poor who asked for Shari’a, it was the elites to score cheap political points. They don’t mind turning Nigeria to a satellite of Saudi Arabia just to look good and enhance their stature among Muslim nations without caring a hoot of the effect of these on Nigeria and Nigerians. Universities have been shut now for months and they are not bothered about this. Their children do not attend Nigerian universities. This is the tragedy Nigerians brought upon themselves in 2015 in the name of Change.
These are the enemies to watch out for and Nigerian Muslims now know. The masses are now more aware and alert, thanks for APC’s misrule.
You will all see what will happen in 2023. There is anger, deep- seated animus against the broom that cannot sweep. They said they came to sweep away corruption; alas, we did not know they came to sweep for their own corruption.
And they think Muslims would always overlook that and simply vote for them because they are Muslims. I told you they are not really even good Muslims and the people now know this.
Thus we shall see surprises in 2023. Osun has shown the way and what to expect. When you add the angry and offended Muslims with the millions of Chrsitians who have vowed to reject a same faith ticket, with the “children of anger” and deprivation and the remnant youths of Endsars’ Movement – then you have a picture of the hurricane that awaits the Broom to sweep it away.
If the gubernatorial election of Ekiti State were to hold today with the reality of APC’ Muslim- Muslim ticket it would have had a different outcome than it did.
The loss of APC cannot totally be due to the Muslim- Muslim ticket but it cannot be totally understood and explained without it. It cannot be due solely to Oyetola’s non- performance. Don’t forget that even in 2019 APC didn’t win in Osun except through remote control of INEC. Power has now returned to the rightful source and the owner.
The Sword has returned to the original owner and has fallen from the hands of impostors. The tsunami has started in the Southwest and the humiliation has begun. Get set for surprises.
Someone is about to lose his hold of a region; someone is about to lose dominion.
I congratulate the people of Osun State and especially the Muslims of those two senatorial districts where the Chrsitian- Chrsitian ticket still won. You are the real heroes of democracy and the rebirth of New Nigeria from Next Level apostates and promoters of divisions and Religious Hegemony.
