To celebrate the 7th year anniversary of CrimsonBow Sickle Cell Initiative (CSCI), which was yesterday, March 1, 2022, the organization has released a short film – In The Name of Love to promote the vision and goals of the organisation.
We at CrimsonBow dedicate this year’s anniversary to my mother and co-founder of Crimson Bow Sickle Cell Initiative Mrs. Temitayo Abimbola Edwin nee Dada, who herself was a sufferer who passed on on March 9, 2020.
My mom was a fighter whose condition could be described as severe for a substantial part of her life. She swore to alleviate the pains of sufferers. While trying to find a cure for the disease, she liaised and worked with many NGOs and medical institutions.
