National leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu paid a courtesy visit to the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
The visit according to Asiwaju himself was to personally go to inform his royal highness of his intention to run for president in the upcoming 2023 presidential elections.
He was accompanied by members of his unofficial presidential team during the visit on Saturday February 12, 2022.
Unfortunately for team Jagaban and the Jagaban himself, the visit has backfired and has been overshadowed by what appeared to be an unfortunate incident.
In a video obtained by Mataz Arising, when Tinubu got up and prostrated for, and standing to address King Sikiru Adetona, there appeared to be an extensive wet patch at the back of his agbada, consistent with his bottom would be while sitting.
The above has left the tongues wagging by opponents of Asiwaju’s candidacy, pointing to this incident as yet again another proof that all is not well with the Jagaban, that he is not a healthy man who amongst other health issues is suffering from incontinence. They maintain that he is not healthy enough to be president of a country that has been run aground by Buhari who millions believe is not healthy himself and his party, the APC.
Tinubu’s supporters claim that, the wetness of his behind was down to him sitting on the leather sofa at the palace.
One thing is clear to Nigerians, that with Tinubu’s health visits overseas where he spent about four months last year 2021, when he was even rumored to have died at a point, to the pictures of him looking so thin, to his lapses and pauses during speeches, to yet another impromptu visit to the UK about three weeks ago, to the latest incident at Awujale’s palace, it is highly justified for well meaning Nigerians to be worried about the state of Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu’s health status.
On or around January 20, 2022 when Asiwaju visited Minna to see IBB, it was reported by some online publication, and I quote,
“On the flight back to Abuja, which is just about 19 minutes, Tinubu went to the toilet about nine times.
“On one occasion, he even wetted his trousers and had to be cleaned up,” revealed the source.
“The development is said to be making some of his ardent supporters in the state to have a rethink of his likely presidential run.”
I wish Asiwaju Tinubu well in all his endeavors.
