It seems that ritual killings for money among the Nigerian youths of today, particularly from the southwest has reached an epidemic proportion to which the government of these states must act without any further delay. One cannot turn to the news on any medium without a ritual murder for money being reported.
One of the latest of the tragedies struck in Oke-Aregba area of Abeokuta, Ogun State as a boy lured his girlfriend to an uncompleted building, where along with his friends and accomplices murdered the girl and cut Off her head for ritual.
The age of the boys range between 17, 19 and 20 year old .
These guys were arrested by the local vigilante in the early hours of the 29th of January, 2022 around 3am while burning the head of their victim, Rofiat in a local/traditional pot. The vigilante then alerted the Nigeria Police Force who then took over the case.
Rofiat’s lifeless and headless body was packed in a sack thereafter.
The boys were also caught with the girl’s burnt head.
The situation about these ritual killings are disheartening and alarming, parents need to watch their children very well, their activities and who they move with, especially their female children. There is so much evil out there. The girls need to let people know their movements, addresses and phone numbers of who they are seeing, where they are visiting, etc.
I decided to add the video to this publication to jolt the conscience of parents, to shock the consciousness of Nigerians of this evil that is now rampant, and hopefully the authorities in charge into finding a solution to this menace.
