Earlier today, YORUBA UNITED WORLDWIDE, INC. a Texas based Yoruba Advocacy Organization, announced that it is organizing some world events by zoom video conference, tagged, “Oodua World Summit.”
On November 22, 2021 the leadership of the organization sent out invitation letters to hundreds of Yoruba/Oodua-leaning advocates and organizations both in Canada and America for the North American segment of the Oodua World Summit.
The Oodua World Summit for North America is a Conference of Agenda where people of Yoruba/Oodua descent in North America get a chance to discuss important issues of common interests and concerns. Leaders of many organizations are also expected to air their views on the goings-on in this community.
The Organization further said that it has tentatively grouped the world into five segments for Oodua World Summit, at each of these summits, people of Yoruba/Oodua descents are expected to attend, dialogue, and make resolutions. The first event will be the upcoming World Summit for North America, followed by Europe, South America, Asia, and the last but not the least, the Africa/Arab segment.
At this Conference of Agenda, slated for this coming Saturday, December 11, 2021, the Organization welcomes attendees to discuss very critical objectives on the way forward towards the attainment of a sovereign Republic of Oduduwa Kingdoms. And by so doing, identify the common grounds for a much-needed formidable UNITY OF PURPOSE.
In essence, the main goal of this summits is to find ways and means to harmonize the common goals of all advocates and organizations in the Oodua community, align, and harness all energies that are currently dissipating in different directions with intents to create a more impactful front for the common good of Oodua Land and her People across the world.
