When plundering becomes a way of life for a group of men in a society, over time they create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it.”-Frederick Bastiat.
Nigeria is a fraudulent enterprise, run by fraudulent minds, supervised by criminals for the benefit of afew greedy seriously pervasive elements. “There is no more dangerous menace to civilization than a government of incompetent, clueless, corrupt or vile men.”-Von Mises.
Profit should never come at the cost of human blood, truth will never shine from a heart filled with corruption and lies. Politics, it seems to me, for years, or for all too long, have been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.
How do you explain a thoroughly bemused citizens of the six largest oil producing country, Nigeria, wake up to be confronted with the removal of fuel subsidy and replace it with a monthly N5000 transport grant to poor Nigerians? The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning and her boss have questions to answer.
#Fuel subsidy: 40m Nigerians to get N5,000 transport grant monthly – FG
Issokay, let’s do the mathematics.
- N5,000 × 40,000,000 (40m) = N200,000,000,000 (N200bn)
- N200bn × 12 months = N2.4 trillion
- Monthly Subsidy being paid by FG = N150bn
- Subsidy per annum = N1.8 trillion
Now See The Logic: Buhari and his APC government will stop paying N150bn as fuel subsidy, replace it by paying N200bn to 40m Nigerians as transport fare/allowance monthly.
So, why remove the subsidy of N150bn to pay N200bn (N50bn extra)?
Does one still need another evidence to convince oneself that Nigeria is presently under clueless people?
