The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has reportedly visited Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the cat with nine lives, it seems.
The All Progressive Congress party leader has been in the news for about six weeks due to ill health. It has been rumored in many quarters, including online media and other social media platforms that Tinubu had succumbed to his ailments and had died.
Over the weekend, it was also reported that he was in critical condition at a Maryland hospital in America where it was gathered that he had been operated upon and that his doctors were getting him ready for yet another operation.
Nobody except those in Tinubu’s inner circle can tell what exactly is the man’s condition, his recovery and where exactly he is.
What most Nigerians know is that Tinubu has been away from the public space for about two months, during which he had been to Paris, France, for treatments of undisclosed ailments.
All said and done, this is a happy development and great news for his teeming admirers and supporters who it must be said have been worried about his silence and away from the public eye for a while if indeed the latest story is true.
