Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), also known as Shi’ite, Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, has alleged that the United States created Boko Haram and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
El-Zakzaky also claimed that the US is funding both the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) and ISIS.
He made the remarks in a trending video, accusing politicians in government of being responsible for Nigeria’s insecurity.
The Shi’ite leader questioned how cattle rearers suddenly acquired sophisticated weapons and armoured vehicles.
He said, “The insecurity problem in Nigeria was created by politicians in power. If they want to stop it today, they can, because they engineered it.
“How come people known as cattle rearers now have guns in the bush? How come those labelled as bandits have armoured vehicles and are called terrorists?
“Where did these armoured tankers come from? Everyone knows authorities are behind the insecurity. If they want to stop it today, they can.
“By inviting the US, when we know clearly they are behind this insecurity, the US created Boko Haram, the US funds Boko Haram, the US created ISWAP and ISIS, and they confessed it openly.
“They said they would use terrorism to conquer Africa. So, how do you expect them to provide remedies for what they caused? It will only lead to mass killings.
“They will come to steal our resources. You will find them where there is gold, oil, gas, and other resources. That is why you see them protecting Christians in Zamfara and Katsina.”
