Sani said the North and South-West also benefitted more from projects from both administrations.

Former Kaduna Central senator, Shehu Sani has named the North and South-West as the highest beneficiaries of political appointments under the administrations of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari and President Bola Tinubu.
Sani made the revelation on Friday.
Sani said the North and South-West also benefitted more from projects from both administrations.
He made the remark while dismissing claims that Tinubu’s administration favours the South against the North.
The former lawmaker spoke in a post on X.
He wrote: “Under the immediate past and present administration, the North West and the South West regions are the highest beneficiaries of political appointments and projects.
“Those who are saying the ‘North’ is disfavoured against the ‘South’ are deliberately distorting this reality.
“The match is not yet half time, wait for more goals or penalties.”
This is coming after the former Political Adviser to Tinubu, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, insisted that the North had always voted for southern presidential candidates.
Baba-Ahmed said the North voted MKO Abiola against Alhaji Bashir Tofa during the 1993 presidential election.
