Parading the suspects before journalists at the Ekpan police station, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, said the suspects were arrested during a midnight wedding ceremony of a gay couple.
The police spokesman said the suspects will be charged to court upon completion of investigation.
The suspects were apprehended in a hotel along Refinery Road in Uvwie LGA.
They were paraded before journalists at the Ekpan police station on Tuesday,
Bright Edafe, the command spokesperson, said the suspects were arrested during a wedding ceremony of a gay couple on Monday.
Edafe said over 100 persons were arrested but at the end of the profiling, the number was scaled down to 67.

The state police spokesman said they would be charged to court upon completion of investigations.
“On the 28 of August, about 100 suspects were initially arrested. The majority of them all dressed like females and we saw the two main suspects, one dressed as a bride and one as the groom,” he said.
“There is a video recording where they were actually performing their wedding ceremony.
“After screening them, we have about 67 suspects that we are parading today.
“We are still investigating, and we want to assure Deltans and Nigerians that they will be charged to court soonest upon completion of the investigation.
“We are bringing this out to the world to know, especially Nigerians, we are in Africa and we cannot copy the Western culture because we do not have the same structure and tradition.”
Homosexuality is illegal in Nigeria and punishable by up to 14 years in prison.
