A mass burial has been held for 40 residents killed by bandits in Mallagum and Sogwon communities in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Terrorists had on Tuesday attacked the two villages, killed a number of residents, burnt down houses, foodstuffs and properties worth millions of naira.

Family, friends and well-wishers wept profusely as those killed were buried on Thursday.

They gathered at Government Secondary School, Mallagum to pay their last respect to the victims.

The Anglican Bishop of Kafanchan Diocese, Danladi Kundi led the burial after a prayer session by the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese.

Many communities in Kaduna have been living at the mercy of terrorists and bandits, who have been killing, maiming and kidnapping residents with reckless abandon.

SaharaReporters gathered that some of the victims were also buried on Wednesday.

This is a recurring decimal in Southern Kaduna for the past 8 years. It happens every December, apart from the monthly killings, between Giwa & Birnin Gwari or Kajuru & Sanga.

The Nigeria Security structure is NOT CLUELESS, it does not lack information or capacity. There is simply no resolve by either the State or Federal Government to take the simple position of ‘NEVER AGAIN’.

The more than 15 security agencies based in the capital city of Kaduna, could have enough Intel to work on and deal with these bigots, IF the will and intent was there. But life no longer seems to have much value in this country.

Apart from the writes of melancholy for the traumatized, raped or abducted and dirges for the dead or very insincere press statements by Government spokespersons, the beat just goes on.

A country of over 220m people of varying capacities does not need to feign helplessness, in excuse, or criminal negligence, while its rural communities are invaded and decimated every WEEK, year round.

The blood of the many defenceless and dead women, children and men cries out to the high Heavens.

It is long overdue for people and communities across Nigeria to activate their constitutional Right-To-Life and Self-Defense, with the full support of the Government, whose duty and mandate it is to protect them –
RPG.

The Nigerian press has gone missing on these acts of genocide pretending to cover the political Campaigns of the 2023 presidential elections, one which they are doing harp hazardly by not asking the candidates the tough questions, and or holding them accountable.

who will deliver Nigeria from our blood thirsty, religious bigots, corrupt money worshiping, power hungry politicians and “rulers”, not leaders, when our media, print and online are silent, and, or have pitched their tent with the highest bidder and abdicated their duties as the watchdog of the government and the voice of the masses? Or how does one explain the deafening silence of a part of democracy tasked with holding the government accountable?

Asiwaju Tinubu is a Muslim, Shettima is a Muslim, Governor El-Rufai, under whose watch genocide is being perpetrated against Christians in Kaduna is Tinubu’s spokesman on Security….who will speak, and or, fight for the Christians?

What if it was the other way round, where Christian ‘extremists’ are killing Muslims in their thousands in the south, what will Buhari’s government do?
