Oh my goodness, what a crass interview!
The setting is annoying with the interviewer having a laptop on her lap, baby crying, so much noise, etc. Who allowed this?
Above all, the whole charade is elementary.
Each time Peter Obi opens his mouth he shows how shallow he is.
And here is another thing – Nigeria journalists like to be the story instead of allowing the story be told by the interviewee.
They ask long wrong questions often with narratives as if they are pleading with the guest.
They are not direct nor punchy – they dance around with dangling questions leaving no time for response and hardly have come back questions as follow up based on what they just heard.
Peter Obi should some handlers coach him on appearing presidential and if he is ever going to sit down for interview, must have the place verified.
Ms. Adeola Fayehun is a CRASS ACT – Geez.
How did she end up getting to interview Peter Obi? Her interview is worse than what Ajegunle Market woman will do.

I like to debate on issues. First of all, let me concur that Obi has many challenges that is shadowing his one man gangsterism. People are chanting for a real change not because of Obi but because of the decadence of the current Nigeria affairs, unfortunately Obi is overwhelmed by people’s sentiments. Like I pointed out earlier, sentiments doesn’t win elections.
Though Nigeria political parties don’t exhibit concrete ideologies, they do have established structures nationally (PDP & APC at least). Obi’s Labor party is not a match.

Lets for a moment agree Obi, by all sort of miracles wins, remember MKO? The so called machineries will not allow it, at least not for now. Me think ooh.
Is Atiku better for Nigeria after a Fulani Buhari eight years? The answer is not justifiable. Fulani Northerner to another Fulani Northerner – Nigeria is not aged enough yet for meritocracy but equitability or rotational leadership. PDP made a blunder.
Tinubu Tinubu Tinubu APC, hmmmmm. From the Southern part of the country alright but!!!!!
I SEE Yar’Adua and Jonathan debacle all over is my concern. Tinubu’s VP candidate from the north is suspect. The Holy book admonished that we do unto others as we would want to be treated. My take also.
Both PDP and APC missed the point I am afraid.
Osibanjo, the current VP unfortunately is another Awolowo, the President Nigeria never had!
Lastly, I foresee an interim National Government on the horizon. Military Government? no no no. It will be too bloody and the generals retired would want to protect their stolen wealth. I feel sorry for the youths that will be sacrificed when the election starts next year. Will Nigeria survive 2023? No one knows.
Finally, Obi and his sentimental movement I am afraid is utopian for now. I come in peace.
I can’t and won’t counter your take because objectivity is in short supply in Nigeria emotionally and ethnically/tribal charged environment.
No no no to military sure but in a chaotic election outcome Buhari may agree to palace coup and ease into oblivion and allow for another who knows who to takeover.
However it goes, if Nigeria survive 2023, it may live to tell a tale.
My 2 cents better than the 2 kobo I long left behind.
