The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, on Tuesday fulfilled his promise by donating a 14-flat mini estate and Corolla car for Uber business to the family of the slain Deborah Samuel.
The deceased family arrived Port Harcourt Tuesday afternoon, a few weeks after the brutal and mindless murder of their daughter.
Deborah was a student of Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto state.
Her life was extinguished on May 12, 2022 when she was attacked by her classmates who accused her of blasphemy against Prophet Mohammed. Deborah had asked them to respect the reason they created a whatsapp group. The class group was for studies, but some Islamic zealots were posting religious matters on there, when Deborah asked them to stop because the posts had nothing to do with their studies, they vowed to deal with her, which they did by murdering her.
An angry mob joined in to beat Deborah to death, setting her lifeless body ablaze.
Apostle Chinyere was moved when he heard that Deborah’s parents vowed never to allow any of their remaining children to ever attend school again because of what they did to their daughter. The pastor went online to ask for whoever had their contacts to tell them that he will relocate them to Port Harcort, and will set them and their family up. He promised to open a shop for the mother, gift a car to the husband among other promises which he fulfilled today.
This kind of Godly act by Apostle Chinyere is highly commendable, such that it will win souls, even Islamic souls, to God.
This is so heartwarming, something that brings smiles to our faces, that brings hope to deflated Nigerians, that, even at this time, in this period in our history, where there is hardly news that gladden the heart, we have a soul that is human amongst the animals in human skin that sponsor, support terrorism, banditry, religious extremism and mindless bloodletting, and mind boggling looting of our treasury, this great soul, this human being, Apostle Chinyere is worthy of praise.
Thank you and God bless you more pastor.
