The average salary of Nigerian worker based on the national minimum wage is N30,000.00. So, the yearly salary is N30,000.00 x 12 = N360,000.00
Remember, the yearly Salary of Nigerian Senator = N353,756,988.00 (three hundred fifty-three Million, seven hundred and fifty-six thousand, nine hundred and eighty eight Naira).
Proportion: N353,756,988.00/N216,000.00 = 1,638. It will take an average Nigerian worker 1,100+ years to earn the yearly salary of a Nigerian Senator.
Why should Nigerians continue to allow this unjust and obscene act to continue?, We must demand change. These people are supposed to be public servants and not Lords. THIS IS PURE LACK OF PATRIOTISM DURING THESE HARD TIMES, OR AT ANY TIME FOR THAT MATTER. THEIR SALARIES HAVE GOT TO REFELECT THAT OF EVERY NIGERIAN THEY SWORE TO SERVE.
SAY NO TO OBSCENE REMUNERATIONS OF THE NIGERIAN LEGISLATORS, END SENATORS UNWARRANTED AND BOGUS SALARIES.
