Dr. Ify Aniebo Rhodes-Vivour, the wife of Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has reacted to a video of MC Oluomo threatening Lagosians who will not be voting for the Lagos State Governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu to stay in their homes on election day.
Mataz Arising reports that the governorship and state house of assembly elections will commence tomorrow, March 18. However, various candidates have complained about intimidation from other parties.
In a video making the rounds on social media, Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo was heard warning voters against voting for other parties
He said: “Iya Chukwudi, if you know you no wan vote for us, siddon for your house o.”
He also told APC supporters that if they notice they are losing in polling units, they know what to do.
Reacting to the video, Rhodes-Vivour’s wife urged the incumbent governor of the state, Sanwo-Olu to call his attack dogs to order.
She argued that Oluomo could confidently threaten Lagosians who are not supporting the APC because he is state-backed.
Sharing a video of Oluomo threatening voters Rhodes- Vivor wrote, “This man can confidently threaten voters because he is state backed. This isn’t the first video of him threatening voters but somehow, he still has not been arrested. @jidesanwoolu call your thugs to order. This is a democracy not a dictatorship. @BenHundeyin do your job!”
