The U.S. government has warned that there is an elevated risk of terror attacks in Nigeria, especially in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The U.S. Mission in Nigeria noted that as a result of that, the U.S. Embassy will offer reduced services in the country until further notice.
A security alert issued on Sunday by the U.S. Mission in Nigeria says, “There is an elevated risk of terror attacks in Nigeria, specifically in Abuja.
